Learn music theory

Do you need Grade 5 theory? So that you can take a higher instrumental grade? Or do you need it as part of a school syllabus or university entry requirement?

Maybe you want to be a composer? Or do you just want to know more about music works?

I can provide you with all the knowledge you need to pass your Grade 5 theory, and make it fun and informative on the way.

We'll relate what we're learning about music theory to real music - the sort of music that you listen to - so that it makes more sense more quickly.

Of course, we're not restricted to Grade 5 theory. If you just want informal composition lessons, harmony advice, some university level brush-up or a complete beginners crash-course, I can do that for you.

Even better, I don't just teach the theory. With a wealth of academic, teaching and performing experience I add all sorts of extra value and input to your learning.

Don't live in Bristol? Can't make it my end of town? Why not try doing it online? We can communicate on Skype, swapping files and examples over the Internet. There's a discount for my first five online students...
